Amber Tradition (Brasserie Fischer) | TheBEERSgoneBAD #118

06 Mar

COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fischer Tradition is a smooth, complex beer which is fruity and has some flowery undertones. Savour it as an aperatif or with cold meats, cheese and choucroute.

This is one of those beers that falls in the European category of ehhhhh. It’s not bad, but it’s not that good either. Beer Advocate rates this beer around the D+ range and we kinda did too. Please alway try new beers for your self due to that fact that our taste might have been off or the beer was a funky one. Either way this is defiantly a beer, just not one I think we would try again.

Zorg Premium Lager | TheBEERSgoneBAD #116

27 Feb

Zorg is beer that we were talked into buying from one of our local beer joints. This huge bottle costs $4.99 and promised to be the most premium lager you will ever drink. If by premium they mean rancid and by lager they mean homeless bathing water, then yes, it was amazing. We are starting to learn the plastic bottles and 4 letter beer labels are not what they seam.

An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor – with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.
