About Us
TheBEERSgoneBAD started as a place for us to get together drink some beer and learn about what we love. It has turned into a show that both of us have had to restrain ourselves from doing 5 nights a week cause we love it so much. We came into this show with very minimal knowledge about beer and the beer industry, but with every episode, we learn a little more about beer and love to share our findings with you. We never wanted this to be a place where someone would feel stupid for not knowing what hops were, thats our job and we are still trying to find out what those are. We are always open for your questions and comments so please feel free to tell us whats on your mind. Again, thank you from both of us for being part of our show as we continually try to find out if TheBEERSgoneBAD.
Pat Tugend
My name is Pat Tugend. My journey with beer started in high school and has been evolving ever since. There have been a lot of great times and a few bad ones….but undoubtably with most great stories there was a beer behind the scenes. Over the years I have tasted, purchased and consumed my fair share of the liquid goodess and rarely am I let down. We live in an amazing place in time right now and I can not wait to see what our modern day brewers create next.
Scott Van Vugt
My name is Scott Van Vugt and I was thrown into the drinking world at a young age. I was handed a 32 of Tecate on a camping trip in Mexico and told to return the bottle to the cantina when I was done. I got drunk and threw the bottle off a cliff, so began my relationship with beer. A relationship that would lead me to great dancing, bad descions and unforgettable yet easiy forgotton barbecues.
I eventually came to love every aspect of beer, and although i lack the ability to appropriately distinguish each remarkable undertone and characteristic of the beers I drink, I love them none the less. So welcome to all who come with the edgy comments, the feedback and slanderous quips. I am ready to begin my carnal journey with the lovely liquid that is Beer.

Interesting that both of you comments relate to underage drinking.

Great site guys, but please lose the superfluous apostrophes. You don’t need them to pluralise words (ie reviews not review’s, ales not ale’s, beers not beer’s) you didn’t use them for pilsners or stouts so why for the other words? We don’t want those wine wankers thinking we’re unejamacted.
